Alexander Rodewald is the acting Secretary-General of NWMUN-Portland 2026. He previously served in this role for NWMUN-Seattle 2024, NWMUN-Portland 2025, and NWMUN-Seattle 2025, and prior to that as a staff member at several NWMUN conferences beginning in 2007. He participated in MUN as a high school and college student, before serving on several conference staffs as a committee Assistant Director and Director, the Executive Secretariat, and as Secretary-General. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of NWMUN's parent nonprofit, the Northwest Association for Global Affairs.
Outside of MUN, Alexander owns and operates a small business in Vancouver, WA, and spends his free time with his children, woodworking, being a snob about books and coffee, and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Kiran Alexis Nieves-Noel is the Director-General of NWMUN-Portland 2026. This is her fourth conference on the NWMUN staff, and her first time on the Executive Secretariat after three years as a committee staff member.
Guylaen O'Connor is the Chief of Staff of NWMUN-Portland 2026. This is his eleventh NWMUN conference, including two years in the Conference Services team, one conference on the Simulations Team, and seven times as a committee staffer before joining the Executive Secretariat for the first time this year.
Malachi Phillips is NWMUN-Portland 2026's Assistant Secretary-General for Outreach (formerly known as Assistant Secretary-General for Logistics). He previously served as the ASG-L for NWMUN-Seattle 2025, and was a Committee Director at NWMUN-Portland 2025, following serving as a longtime team leader and training delegates to come to NWMUN.
David Bolles is the Assistant Secretary-General for Conference Services at NWMUN-Portland 2026. He joined the conference services team at NWMUN-Seattle 2024, and then served as Assistant Secretary-General for Conference Services at NWMUN-Seattle 2025 before continuing in the position this conference.
